Prof. (Haybusak). MD. DDS. (GUS) George KHOURY studied medicine at the University of Hamburg and dentistry at the University of Yerevan in Armenia.
From 1993 to 1999, he worked at the University Medical Centre Hamburg-Eppendorf (UKE) in the Department of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery (OMS)/Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery.
Between 1999 and 2001, he worked at the Bundeswehr Hospital (BWK) in Hamburg
in the Department of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery/Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery. He subsequently furthered his expertise at the University of Birmingham, Alabama (USA), in the Department of Plastic Surgery through various aesthetic and reconstructive operations.
In 1997, he completed his habilitation at Yerevan State Medical University (Armenia). The histological examinations were carried out in the Department of Pathology under Prof. Dr Donath at the University Medical Centre Hamburg-Eppendorf.
Since 2002, Prof. Uni (Haybusak). MD. DDS. (GUS) KHOURY has held a professorship at Yerevan State University in Armenia – in the Department of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery/Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery.
In 2000, he founded his own practice for oral and maxillofacial surgery and the Estetica Clinic for Aesthetic and Reconstructive Surgery at the Spitaler Hof in the centre of Hamburg. He runs both businesses as founder and chief consultant.
He speaks the following languages: German, English, Arabic, Armenian, Russian.
