Ear surgery involves a small incision at the back of the earlap where cartilage is then modified. This is done in a way so that as little evidence of surgery is visible from the front or side. After intervention a special head dressing is used to protect the ear. The head dressing is replace shortly thereafter by a sweat band which is then worn for about six weeks.
